In the event the team starts poorly, Levis should get an opportunity to start as a showcase in 2023, but his fall in the draft does not secure a starting opportunity past that showcase. Incumbent starter Ryan Tannehill has one year left on his contract, but the team has an over/under of 7.5 wins and is a candidate to be in the high end of the 2024 Draft, where they could again be in the quarterback market. ![]() The team has signaled a period of rebuilding, including moves along their offense and defense lines while possessing one of the worst supporting casts in the league. The problem with the selection is the cost does not guarantee Levis a true opportunity to be a franchise starter. Ultimately, the Titans traded up to select Levis with the second pick of the second round.
